    Lost his Dad

But what a joy to me you are son. Sorrow not, as those who do not hope. Our love continues and will be cherished forever.

Your mother and I were bursting with pride when your team won the state championship after all the hard work you had put into creating that opportunity. Yet, I was just as proud of you as you coached your first game. I know you remember, but you lost!

Son, I have been so proud of you with how you care and work for your players. Some may not realized the advocate they had, but for most you made a difference in their life and they are better off because they played for you. And for a few, like Daniel, you filled a void that could not be replaced. Now I say to you son, your void will be filled too.

What a beautiful family you have. I cherished the time we spent together but now mom, Lisa, Jake, & Alexis are your first priority. I know you know that, but they will be the first to fill you.

So who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Not suffering, or distress, not famine or nakedness, not peril or sword. For neither death nor life nor angels nor powers, nor things present or to come, nor heights nor depths shall part us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.

I will always love you son.

    Dad

The father that wrote this was an amazing man. Generous and helpful to a stranger and a loving example setter to his family. He left too early...God bless:angel:

A well pitched game indeed. Opportunities arose where Weddington could have made a closer game of it. He didn't get rattled, made good pitches and got out with a nice win. Congratulations to him.

For whatever reason Zach has been pretty much over looked in the past. Maybe now people to will see what a lot of us (me included) have known for years. This kid is a player! Congrats Zach, your making the MARA Alumni very proud! Hopefully this means you won't pitch against us this Tuesday!:headbang:

My cousin's son has no arms or legs and has to hold the bat in his teeth. He struck out looking.

A kid like that deserves a lot of credit for standing (well you know what I mean) in there
