Thanks Coach, and btw GREAT website. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, but I gotta give you props for the time/energy you spent on that website. I especially like the roster, because its more than just names, it actually tells you something about each player. Best of luck the rest of the year down in God's country (CC).

Appreciate that. It was a lot of work and takes time to update, but it has been a great source of pride for our program and has definitely been valuable in helping kids get noticed at the collegiate level.

    Northwest 5 JM Robinson 3

Robinson looked down and out but came back to make the game interesting. NW wins at Robinson 5-3. These teams play again Friday at NW.

Concord fell to Central Cabarrus 9-2 but took a much larger loss when CF J.C. Benjamin broke his leg in the third inning. He underwent successful surgery today having a rod placed in his leg. A tough break for a great kid who was really starting to turn into a great player.

    Northwest 1 JM Robinson 0

Pitchers duel tonight at NW with Bain allowing 3 hits and Koerner giving up only 2 hits for Robinson, but one of the two was a HR. Northwest travels to Lake Norman tomorrow evening to face the Wildcats.

    Northwest 3 Lake Norman 9

In non-conference play, NW carries a one run lead into the 6th but the bullpen gives up 7 runs. NW did hit the ball a little better than in past games but not enough to hold on against a very good LK Norman squad.
