    Mallard Creek beat North Mecklenburg 7-4 in a big I-Meck game. Mikal Hill was 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 3 stolen bases. Brandon Wilkerson hit a homerun and scored two runs and PJ Smith had two hits. Junior Michaell Boles pitched a great game giving up 1 earn run and getting the win .

    Wow! Mikal Hill had 3 stolen bases on two doubles? Unless I read that wrong that means he stole third twice in the same game? After whipping two doubles? Have a day, kid.

    Could have stolen bases after being walked or HBP in other at bats...

    Usually don't get more than 3 - 4 at bats. Either way: 3 stolen bases is impressive; add two doubles into the mix and that is quite a day....

    Hopewell wins a big game against a very talanted mallard creek team 6-4. Hunter May was the winning pitcher for the Titans going the distance. Hunter kept the batters for mallard creek guessing what pitch was coming next the entire game (7 complete innings). Kyle Himler would go yard in the deepest part of the ball park to get the Titans back in the game after getting down 2-0 early.(Himler playing very well for the Titans after having tommy john a year ago). It seems the Titans are starting to get the hitting going after a slow start to the season. The Titans will next be in action Tuesday against Vance and wed against Indy.

    NW Cabarrus 3 Lake Norman 9

    Lake Norman finishes 4-0 on a very busy week. LKN beat a good hitting NW team today.

    LKN Ace Scottie Williams went 5 inn gave up 3 runs
    Taylor Thurber finished the last 2 innings.

    Joey McAlpin 2-3
    Jack Edminston 1-3 HR
    Tyler Lewis and Jesse Seaford both had a hit with 2 rbi

    Lake Norman(10-1) plays at home against North Iredell on Wed.
