    According to the umpire the runner in this game was actually called out for running out of the base path.

    interference is a DELAYED dead ball call...so #1 is the correct way to call the play.

    hehe... A delayed dead ball (which is not what happened in the OP) is a dead ball call with no stop in play. After all play is completed, the dead ball goes into effect and the ump sorts out the mess.

    ...CMon CMMPal, you know you're dealing with limited mental capabilities of the fish, so, thanks for your post, but can you cast some bait into this gig and explain maybe with examples whats up with a delayed dead ball.
