    Impressive performance tonight for the Lady Titans...a solid 1st half of the MAC schedule has but McDowell in the race for the top spot.

    North Gaston 6, Kings Mountain 4 — Taylor Courtney (three hits) and Sullivan Owens (two hits) led North Gaston at the plate. Sidney Mitchell pitched seven innings with six strikeouts, five hits and one walk. The Wildcats (9-5, 3-3 Big South 3A) host South Point on Friday. Hayley Hoyle had two hits and an RBI for Kings Mountain.

    Forestview 15, Ashbrook 2 — Andreya O’Brien (two hits, 2B) led Ashbrook (1-14, 0-9 Big South 3A) , which visits North Gaston on Tuesday. Forestview (7-7, 3-3 Big South 3A) was led by Haley Caskey (two hits, three RBIs) and Katie Johnson (two RBIs). Forestview plays at Hunter Huss on Friday. (not the score on the scoreboard)

    East Gaston 16, Waddell 0 (3 inn.) — Hayley Black (3-3) and Shanie McConnell (3-3) led the Warrior bats while Black got the win. East Gaston (10-1, 6-0) plays at Harding on Friday
