hitting instructors

    looking for a good hitting instructor for my dd.in 10th grade with good power sees the ball well just having trouble making solid contact. located in mecklenburg co. so can travel to nc or sc with no problem. any help would be appreciated

    I'm sure there are many options available, but I'll list two that I recommend.

    Carolina Baseball Center: A 50,000 sq ft facility with an excellent staff for softball.

    On Deck Academy: Another indoor facility that has developed many HS softball players for college.

    I wouldn't be surprised that there are members on this board that provide excellent instructions.

    have had a couple of my girls have some great success at CBC. good people, got the knowledge to make it work.

    There is a great hitting coach in Wingate. Her name is Emily Price. She played at UNC and was a great hitter herself. She still holds the single season HR record and hit .400 in her senior year. She also played professionally for the Akron Racers. Anyone that has taken lessons with her will say she has done a great job. She is a personal trainer in Mathews, but lives in Wingate.     My daughter took lessons; helped her tremendously!! Agree she is very good at what she does!
