    7th straight win for the wildcats. with the Huss 12-2 win over forestview. creates a 3 way tie for 2nd @ 4-3. 3 games behind crest.

    Getting that time of the year when the pressure is building. SC had a lot of stuff go down this week also. Usually this involves the parents and not the kids. I bet without knowing this one invloved the "old people" not the players

    With that win

    With the win by Foard tonight that puts them as the #1 seed in the 3-A NW conference if you look at the Play-off brackets (which are posted) looks like a showdown with Crest in the 2nd round could be. St Stephens as of now could be #2 seed in the 3-A NW conference. St Stephens could match-up with Kings Mt, South Point, N. Gaston, or Forestview in the first round.

    We have a winner! Same ole stuff that goes on everywhere, goes on here too. Parents that want to blame somebody else's kid for the loss.

    Great pitchers duel tonite by two solid sophmores as Central Cabarrus defeated Concord 2-1 in 8 innings. Kristen Durant and Mellena Helms both pitched very well for their respective teams. Solid game by Taylor "TJ" Fain going 3-4, with 2 doubles and RBI, and a clutch sac bunt moving the runner from 1st to 3rd by Lindsey Brown, and Tori Cragan 2-4 RBI, came up with a solid game winning hit. Great team effort tonite by the Vikes as the defense was solid all nite, while the offense collected 9 hits, and the pitching was masterfull as well only allowing the four hits. The win puts CC in third one game ahead of Concord in the SPC. Tough non-confrence matchup tomorrow with Hickory Grove.
