Baseball Poll

karlrocket, I nearly called it about 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to be patient out of respect of other great teams in the west,,, but ER is scary good. They really are. They just gave up their 3rd earned run of the year just last night in a 5-1 win.

 

Tri-9

JM-15 is correct to say that the Tri-9 is beating up on each other. Green Hope will make a strong move soon with its good pitching. Apex is solid with good coaching. Middle Creek, F-V, and Holly Springs will be at the top. Athens Drive and Lee in the middle. Panther Creek and Cary are at the bottom.

 

There are additional pages. Providence is 31 and Lake Norman is 37.

 

In 4a AK is 4th, South Cald is 8th, Davie is 17th, Prov is 13th and LN is 16th

I don't understand how Pinecrest stays in the rankings. When Maples pitches they can beat anyone, other than that I don't see it. They are big, but not fast. They have little other pitching, and it seemed like they all had pretty long swings. We threw a 2012 that had pitched 4 or 5 jv and no varsity innings and he held them to 2 runs in 4 2/3 innings.

 

they are 12-4, must be doing something right??

 

they only have two bad losses, and one was against Mooresville, which is probably underachieving a little bit this season, and had an off day against Asheboro, which they did beat at the beginning of the year. they've 10-runned a lot of teams including Providence and have gone around the state and played a pretty diverse schedule against NC and SC teams. so wouldn't take anything away from them.

 

what goes around comes around..only a matter of time in which NONE of us can stop!
