Wes has had very few bad outings in his career. Heck, one of them was after dental surgery. He is one of those that through the whole game doesn't really awe you, but the results speak for themselves. When the game is over, then you are in awe. In tonights game, if the LF could have picked the ball up a second sooner, Wes has a 4 hit shutout. Knowing Wes, he doesn't care about a run or a hit given up, doesn't really care if he gets the win, as long as the Devils do. I am really surprised that he is insigned. Someone is really gonna get a gem late in the processed.

    Kannapolis - 6 Concord - 3

The "Wonders" win at Concord 6-3, John J Tuttle picks up the win. I couldn't be at the game so that's all I know at this time.

A.L. Brown beat Concord 6-3 on Wednesday for a big SPC win.

John Tuttle scattered seven hits and struck out seven in a solid mound outing.

Zach Wright's bases-clearing double in the first inning got the Wonders (8-13, 6-7 SPC) started.

Wesley Honeycutt's double keyed two late insurance runs.

Concord threatened in the seventh and got the tying run to the plate, but the Wonders closed it out.
