    Kannapolis 6 Concord 3

John J Tuttle gets the win for Kannapolis.

A.L. Brown beat Concord 6-3 on Wednesday for a big SPC win.

John Tuttle scattered seven hits and struck out seven in a solid mound outing.

Zach Wright's bases-clearing double in the first inning got the Wonders (8-13, 6-7 SPC) started.

Wesley Honeycutt's double keyed two late insurance runs.

Concord threatened in the seventh and got the tying run to the plate, but the Wonders closed it out.

Hickory Ridge wins in 11 against J.M. Robinson 3 to 2. Zac Andrews started and pitched 10 strong innings for The Ridge. Travis Baucom pitched the 11th for the win.

Zach Wright pitched a great 7 inning complete game for the Wonders tonight and led the offense with a 2-run HR.

    Good game Runt...

It was "senior night" at A.L. Brown, as they took the field for their last regular season game at Memorial Stadium in Kannapolis. Boy did these guys come to play, Zach Wright (SR) threw a complete game allowing only 1 run. Wright started the game for Dylan May, who is still not cleared to throw. Wright also belted a 2 run HR in the second inning and John J Tuttle (SR) and Wes Honeycutt (SR) both had RBI Doubles off Concord starter, Eric Brenk. With the win Kannapolis secures the 5th seed in the SPC. :champagne: :woot::N1yeeaah:O.K. someone shoot me now!:guns6:
