We got there for the last 2 innings of the 1st game on Saturday so we got to see the grand slam. The only other real at bat I remember was the 1st at bat of the game Sunday and she roped a double down the right field line. I can only say she sure looked good in those 2 at bats. State did not give her anything to swing at the rest of the at bats I saw. They look to have a pretty good team, hope they can make it to Oklahoma City in June. Probably the only ACC team with a real chance to get there.

    Agree

I agree and after watching Alabama and Washington. GT had better bring the A game everytime. Yee will need 3 or 4 others to help her out in order to make a good run to OK city. Step up pitching also.

Yes Jenn Yee is the real deal at the plate. I heard folks saying don't walk her or do walk her, or man she must have 20/10 vision, the ball must look like a watermelon..........

well, I was impressed for sure.

Now as a national player of the year candidate, you would think that there is a responsibility to keep your emotions in place and not show you're ass.

NCSU runner on 1B, ball is hit to 3B who throws to Yee at 2B in an attempt for a DP, the runner slides at 2B, Yee is in front of the bag, runner clips Yee, no way harmful but intentional for sure, and there goes the double play.

I thought that this play is typical in baseball and softball.

Next NCSU batter who hit 2 HRs this weekend was beaned in the protective device on her leg.....and miss Canada Yee came running towards the NCSU dug out yelling thats for you!

No BS, pointing her finger and acting like an idiot. Total disrespect.

Taunting all the way to the circle.

The umps should have kicked her butt off the field. Or her coach should have taken her out of the game.

When she came back up to bat, she wasn't plugged, and she walked down to 1B.

NCSU took the highroad on this one.

    Thats class.

    Props

Glad I was not there to see that part of the game. If she acts like that it will come out during the NCAA tournament. When is the national player of the year given out anyways? If it was a once in a year thing ( I still hate it) then that is one thing, but if all the attention has gone to her head and she thinks "she is all that" she will find out in the next month. I don't mean it in a bad way but she will see the best pitching and teams in the country over the next month and her true colors will show.

    be interesting

Finger pointing. What if DL put a 70+ up around her ear. Would YEE charge the mound. DL 6'1 and likely not back down. College WS may be real interesting this yr......

....well, as for better pitching, NOPE, look at the ACC pitchers and you'll see that Campana is 7th in the nation, then you've got Spaulding, UNC, Hamilton, FSU, Knight and Hickey, MD, and on and on.... Yee is an excellent hitter, one of if not the best I've ever watched.
She got caught up in emotions on the field as all athletes are prone to do.

Unfortunately, being a Heisman trophy candidate, ie POY of Softball, you have to check yourself because you're under a microscope.

It just goes to show the kids reading TBR that how you act on and off the field means way more than you think. So don't let your emotions write a check that you can't cash. In other words, let your bat do the talking and nobody can sling snot about how you acted.
