    One of those hits in the 5th was hit right at the center fielder who miss played it. I wish we could also give error to the ump on a clear strike-out that wasn't called on a check, but thats part of the game I guess. Anyway your girls played good. Good luck the rest of the way.

    Umps can get many errors thru the course of a game. Theres a few we thought were questionable on them corners . But you are right. Part of the game.

    Big Game today

    Big games today to determine 1, 2, 3, 4 in 3A/4A conference

    Alexander Central at Fred T Foard If AC wins then they win conference title outright. If Foard wins they will share Title.

    3 and 4 place pits St Stephens at South Caldwell If Saint wins they finish 3rd place. If South wins then there will be a tie and I guess they will flip for seedings in conference tournament.

    Been a good year for 1st year of the NW 3A/4A conference, really good teams from top to bottom. Even Hickory is playing better now that there pitcher is Healty.

    East Rowan gets the threepeat,clinching it's 3rd NPC title in a row.

    St Stephens 2 9 innings (WP-Wakefield 8 k's)
    South Caldwell 1 (Hall 10 k's)

    Everytime we play South Caldwell its a nailbitter and seems to go extra innings. 1st game this year was 11 innings. Always a 1 run game. Last year we had another 11 inning game with SC. Hall and Wakefield always put on a show in these games.
