    The only problem I've had with this new All-Cabarrus County league this year is,,, you never know what time the games start.

    Kannapolis played over at Concord 1st round at 630, then they were saying last night champ game will be 630 tomorrow, yet today's Salisbury Post says 700.

    After finding out last night that all my blue M&M's are totally worthless, I'm just completely confused. Somebody needs to remember we aint got no local paper and us older guys depend on them keeping it SIMPLE... :SCF-HL:

    Winning only solves one problem...LOSING! I am gathering you are looking to avoid that dreaded SPC 4 seed?
    If Brown wins, seeds will be: 1. NWC; 2. Brown; 3. Mount Pleasant; 4. Hickory Ridge; 5. Concord. The SPC's No. 4 seed plays at NPC champ East Rowan (22-2) to open the playoffs.

    Wouldn't call any seeding in the playoffs dreaded. Just good to be in them. Hickory Ridge lost to East Rowan 3 to 7 earlier in the year so they are familiar with them and it would be a challange to play them again. and as you should know seedings do not always hold true in baseball games. Good luck tonight. Although a Northwest alum I like to see an underdog do well.

    my take on the rules

    According to the NCHSAA website-- it looks like the head-to head tie-breaker applies to the tournament....BUT if 2 teams are tied in the regular season, the tie-break for the state playoffs becomes head-to-head(they split), then the tie-break would be if they played in the tournament(they won't), then which team that goes farther in the conf. tournament(which gives the #1 seed to NWC)----however, sometimes a lawyer is necessary to figure it all out for sure.....BUT, I'm sure I speak for you, TJ21, in saying--for all the teams that did make the STATE PLAYOFFS----CONGRATULATIONS.....and it doesn't matter who you play or where you play them-----to be the best, you gotta beat the best!

    Sorry Knuckles, you have to excuse my excitement for making it this far in the tournament. I'm really proud of the way our "boy's" have responded after taking it on the chin a few times late in the season. Good luck to the SPC in the playoffs!!!

    weyco oh weyco please let me know the score so I'll know if Hickory Ridge will be seeded in dreaded spot number four!!!!
