    Interesting Rotation

In talking with someone at the Wakefield-Holly Springs game, he said that HS started Mackey tonight. I really thought they might start Rodon with the extra day of rest...and if not him....Manning. Rodon relieved and pitched either 2 or 3 innings. Will be interesting to see if they come back with him on Friday or go with Manning againt Apex.

That is interesting. With Rodon pitching a few tonight, I would have to think Manning starts Friday with Rodon in relief. Would have thought Manning would of started this evening though so who knows. One things for sure, Coach Whitesell know's what he's doing at HS.

Coach Valder (Apex), Coach Whitesell (HS), and Coach Spivey (Lee) are probably the three best coaches in the league outside of Coach Senter (FV). Talent can take you far but good coaching is a must. And this wasn't a shot at other coaches in the conference because the Tri-9 has some dern good coaches!

You're right. Coach Jones at Panther Creek (used to be at Millbrook) is very good too!

It's better to have stud players than stud coaches, but all of those coaches mentioned have impressed me. It's one of the reasons the Tri-9 is always extremely competitive year round.

Apex blew out Holly Springs in last year's playoffs, so that will be an interesting 3rd round battle.

Broughton vs Lee County should be a fun low scoring game with 2 teams that do the fundamentals the right way.

Awesome. Lee is doing something they weren't expected to. Beat up Millbrook, beat us 2-0, and now this. Gotta root for the underdog. I think it was the Frye kid who pitched against us. We couldn't do jack with him. We never really threatened at all. Now wouldn't it be something if they ran the table?

Frye is one of the best around. He will be ready in round 4!
