I think you have to use your offense against them. At least that's what Oregon seems to think.

Couldn't help but think about your comments concerning Jen Yee during the State game after she tried to pull that runner interference trick during the Oregon game. A less-knowledgeable umpire would have called interference.

...Me too. I saw it and thought that it was a smart heads up try by Yee, but sorry, no home cookin' this time to Miss America, uhh I mean Miss Canada.
GT, as good as they are, got run ruled in the first game today.

    help me out , really

to anyone , everyone that has experience w/ college choices for softball ladies.
first of all, don't get all mad about my question............I really want to know your thoughts.
How does North Dakota St. U. attract several apparently high level "softball-rich" state of Calif. softball school girls (& not to mention a NC product) to build their program? That coach must be a master recruiter. I bet their early season home games (if they have any?) are a bit chilly.

    1. tradition.... They were the D2 National champs back in 2000, transitioned to D1, been to the dance several times, including a super regional last year.
    2. Area...North Dakota and South Dakota ate two of the "hot beds" of fast pitch..along with Minnesota, and other parts of the Northwest. Note..the boys play little league fastpitch softball there as much as the baseball side.
    3. Coach Mueller.....doesn't get much better.....he is 288-148 over the last 8 years.

    4. Support... They get support from the town, school and state.... it's the only show in town...

    not many runs in Seattle

UNC bows out but wow the pitching dominated in all games. Spaulding is the real deal. They said she's headed to Austria to play.

so UNC scores 3 runs in 4 games, right? faced strong pitching; what can you say?

as far as GT losing in their regional, I thought they laid an egg..........did not put it all together and did not deserve to advance. pitching not up to par and some errors.
Did you guys see Jenn Yee left in the on-deck circle at game's end with GT down a run?
