    Too much sense...

I guess that's why I hang out with 18 teenage boys and a rake all the time instead of sitting in a Chapel Hill office getting a big check.

[Although a few parents may disagree with you :dots:]

Exactly...I think that would be great, and that is what I was getting at with my original post...but like you said, makes too much sense!!!

Now I hate to digress - especially after one person at least implied that I may have sense - but this type quote was part of my original complaint. Maybe I'm wrong, but it 'sounds' like chasing dollars, not playing the game. By the way, I know enough to know most who scholy won't get over 25% in "our game". Practice, play, enjoy, improve. The money (ugh!) will come.

And I really hate to say this, but most are now offered at/after/through showcases (bigger ugh!!), not state playoffs. Now that's how it used to be!

[Please don't get mad. Maybe pretend I didn't address this :59:]

    Waiting on that scouting link...

    Tic toc tic toc......

That "scouting report" was simply in reference to someone asking "who are the hitters? pitchers? A good place to eat?" prior to a second round game. No, not a "report" request, but that's how some people go about it. I'm trying to cut down on Mel's "Cospiracy Theory" and Damon's "Bourne" stuff. I start seeing too many people behind the port-a-Johns at practice.:2:

:biggrin:.......don't know if you mean to, but that's funny stuff. I'm visualizing an opposing coach hiding behind a port-a-john. You would think a coach would have his own practice or game. And if it was a parent? who cares! I don't know of a coach that would take their advice.

Again, I believe you construed a person's curiosity about a team and their players to watch as a scouting report. But I do concur that a coach may read the part about good restaurants to attend.

    YES...

...I mean it funny. [But my mom will be so proud that I am now construing!]

NO... I have not really seen anyone behind the port-a-Jon... well, not scouting anyway. See, around my parts, the tasty little round, blue candy inside the port-a-Jon is quite popular. Those get gone fast!:blurp:
