Cherryville slipping?

    Post 100 is without their head coach due to the state playoffs. Also, his son is on that HS team and would be the starting shortstop.
    Season has just barely started, so I wouldn't be to concerned yet.

    They have lost 2 games this season. They weren't lost consecutively. I guess losing 1 game in Cherryville could be considered a "losing streak." I'm sure Post 100 will be just fine.

    Cherryville Post 100 defeats Henderson Co. Post 77 on Sun 5/30 by score of 11-7.

    Post 77 - 000 021 031 = 7 - 8 - 2
    Post 100 -304 130 00x =11-14 -2

    WP - Adam Benfield, 7 innings

    Homers - Cherryville: Stephen Huss, solo, 3rd inn; Bryan DaCanal, solo, 3rd inn; Thomas Bess, 2 run, 5th inn

    Record for Post 100 is now 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the division.

    Next game for Cherryville is at home on Mon 5/31 @ 7pm vs. Gaston Braves.

    Mon 5-31-10

    Went by the field to see if they could get tonights game vs. Gaston Braves in. Nobody home @ 6:15, game rained out, I am guessing.

    Next game I have on my schedule for Post 100 is Wed. June 2 @ Gaffney.

    The schedule that I have shows that there is no game scheduled for tomorrow (Tues). I don't know if there will be any attempt to make up any of the games that have been previously postponed.
