    Mudcat yell back at us when TC gets those rings. Lets see how big bad TC does away from home. Runs want come nearly as easy.

    Potentially 3 games tomorrow. Its like an AAU tournament for kids...playing all day long

    this just in. Even though they haven't completed the top half of the first inning, the NCHSAA has determined that the game is official, with TC winning 1-0.

    OK. Saw that www.citizen-times.com/hshuddle had the latest on the schedule Saturday. It's still unclear when game 3 would be played if that game is necessary.

    Game started with righty Pete Schultz (1.50 ERA) on the mound and leadoff lefty Kevin Price (.440) working the count to full before striking out. Right-hander Joel McKeithan (.500) popped up to the catcher in the massive foul territory, Lefty Aaron Wright (.430) followed with an opposite field single, advanced to second on a wild pitch and then scored on righty Matt Fernandez's (.435) 2-2 curve ball single up the middle. Game was then halted due to thunder, followed by rain.

    the TV stations also covered it, and MyFox8 even led the sportscast with the game, ahead of the ACC and the Coca-Cola 600. Wow. this is a big game, even after only a half-inning! Gotta love high school baseball! Here is WLOS video of the game:
