I'm totally baffled about the fact that Hunt's Kyle Pittman has not been picked up to play college baseball next year.Take it from me: He will make your team better. No doubt about it. He has excellent grades also. Kyle catches for Hunt because thats where he's needed, but I've seen him play multiple positions. Infield or outfield. He hits for power (9 home runs thus far). & drives in runs. He's a big reason Hunt's still playing right now. Any college coaches that are still needing to fill your roster, with a quality player, I'd take a look. You will thank me later.

 

I have been told that Kyle has decided to pursue a double major in engineering at NC State next year and was not too worried about not playing next year.

 

I'm sure Kyle will do well at State. No doubt in my mind thou that he could also be a major contributor to a college baseball program somewhere. Really good athlete.

 

VERY TRUE KARL. HE IS PART OF THEIR SUCCESS. TO MANY KIDS WORRY ABOUT PLAYING COLLEGE BALL ( OR SHOULD I SAY PARENTS, I'M ONE OF THEM) THIS KID WILL BE A SUCCESS OFF THE FIELD. IT IS TOUGH TO GET A GOOD DEGREE, IF YOU KEEP PLAYING SPORTS IN COLLEGE. UNLESS YOUR NATURALLY SMART, DETERMINED AND DISCIPLINED. THIS KID WILL HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE.

Yea, he could still pursue a double major: Engineering & baseball.
