    Softball
    Tue., Jun. 1 through Noon, Thu., Jun. 10
    This dead period surrounds the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

    No Official visits
    No Unofficial visits
    No Contacts
    No Evaluations
    No Observations
    No Speeches at banquets

    Permissible recruiting activities
    •Correspondence to prospects not at a competition site.
    •Correspondence (including electronic correspondence) sent directly to a
    prospect who is on-call but not at the competition site or who has been released by the team.
    •No correspondence to prospects who are on-call and at their competition
    site.
    •One telephone call per week.

    .......well, hhhmmmm, to reply or not to reply? OK, your post speaks for lots of folks, and lots of folks may disagree, I'm sitting on the fence here.
    If you're not playing in the HS final 4s, then maybe you should work hard to hone in your talents TB and be ready when the NCAA mandated "dead period" is released. Yes its ok to sling alittle snot about HS and daddy ball or ADs or teachers or whatever, but all that bitching has been going on for YEARS. Trust the Fish on that one. Bust your butt to be the best you can be no matter what or who denies you that opportunity.


    And in the end of your playing days, as long as you can look in the mirror and say to yourself that you did the best that you could do, you WON!
