For your information the 60 yard times were 60 yards ( not 58 yards get over it). Try to rate more guys that aren't DB players. I have seen equal or better throws from other players.

    Rosters

If you're talking about his blog on the Impact website, I think you may want to check the rosters of his teams. I didn't notice many talked about.

I only mentioned pop times, that there were plenty of other catchers that looked just as good. Con grats to the other kids he mentioned. I didn't say anything about the othe players. READ

Big t you are right, there are about 8 good catchers, that I have seen. Some of the catcher's were exploited by their weak arms and coaches made them pay. (Like they should). Region 1&7 didn't see, region 6,5,3,2 (2 good catchers per team) IMO. The 60 times were right. My son ran spot on. Does any one have the pop times?

    don't you mean "money grub"?

you can't even read the blogs without paying your $60 "subscription"--after reading touts of who the best ball-players in the world are...(only those whose parents have shelled out $1,500.++)--thank goodness some scouts still go to ballgames and evaluate players themselves, not just sit and read profiteers' propaganda, and every one of you reading this KNOWS it is just that way! In fact, you may get sued for copyright infringement for divulging any info you are discussing--JEEZ !!:argue:

Ease up guys.....if things are meant to happen, they will, just have faith! Some folks get to dependent on what some sites report. Have Faith! It's hard, believe me, I know. Don't worry about what some say and how awards go. Play right, Play hard and have faith!

Exactly---I'm happy for the kids that get recognized, but as far as scouting is concerned it means nothing. To believe that a college coach scours the internet looking for prospects is ridiculous. These guys have their own ideas of what they are looking for and how a prospect fits---and those kids come in all packages.

I know many read this site to follow up on a recruit's weekend or HS game and some read the board for a prospect that has fallen though the cracks, but they ALWAYS make their decisions based on personal contact.

When it comes to hype, awards, all star teams or any other recognition factor, it really doesn't matter. If you play hard, play the right way and have tools that project in college, you will be noticed...and that my friends is all that matters.

Personally, I may not be on Andy Partin's Christmas card list, but I can make a valid argument that AP is one of the most important and influential people in our state in regard to amateur baseball. Many people have no idea the state of recruiting in NC prior to Andy starting Impact baseball---it was virtually non-existant.

    If You Play Hard--------

I like this entire paragraph, but especially the part I high-lighted. If you play hard, play the right way, and have tools that project in college, you will be noticed!

For your information, after looking over the 3 blogs that were posted on IMPACTbaseball.com I found that over 25 players were mentioned and only 6 were Dirtbags. So I think Andy rated some other players too because I noticed a lot of SC Panthers on there also. Don't understand why you have to take shots, but I'm guessing it might be because your son didn't get mentioned? I don't know, but I just wanted to throw that fact out there for you.
