    This showcase has really become one of the best on the East Coast. 30 teams this year with some great NC matchups in the pools. Games are played at Coastal Carolina June 24-27. Myrtle Beach parties are only 30 minutes away!!

    Pool A: North Canes 17u and Dirtbags 2011
    Pool B: South Canes 17u and South Charlotte Panthers 17u
    Pool C: Charlotte Heat 2012 North Canes 16u Dirtbags 2012 NCBA Golden Spikes 2011
    Pool D: South Canes 16u and On Deck Black 2011
    Pool E: Dirtbags 2010 Cubs 18u ACPB Stars 18u Next Level Baseball
    Pool F: CBC Diamond Rats Army and Charlotte Heat 2011

    Look out for these non-NC teams as one of these might win the championship:

    Maryland Monarchs
    Upstate Mavericks
    Danville Mustangs

    Opening game today

    South 17u Canes defeat Diamond Devils 16u Blue by a score of 9-2...Luke Bondurant of South County HS in Lorton Va with 2 big fly's including a salami in the 1st inning.....Dillon Frye of Lee County HS in Sanford NC gets the win on the hill..Patrick Corbett (Va) and Johnny Milner (Mass) also pitched

    Canes 17u North 7 Mid Atlantic Red Sox 0 Nick Thompson dinger and 4 rbi's

    Diamond Devils 17u Blue 9 Dirtbags 2011 2

    ACPB 18u Stars 1 Dirtbags 0 No details but must have been some super pitching

    Double the pleasure

    The Carolina Cubs got no hitters from Rookie Davis and John Allen in their 2 games yesterday BUT this morning they lost 10-6 to the Dirtbags 16u team.

    South 17u Canes beat the Sand Gnats 5-3

    North 17u Canes lost to the Dirtbags 17u 2-1

    Charlotte Heat 2011 defeated CBC Rats Army by a score of 2-1

    CBC Rats Army shuts out Steel City Wildcats 5-0 behind 12 k's by Taylor Thurber

    Steel City downed On Deck Orange 2011 by a score of 9-1

    North 17u Canes took care of the Padres Scout team 10-2

    Great pitching

    Josh Sborz of the Canes 16u North tossed a 1 hitter over the Dirtbags 18u in a 9-1 victory. Sborz is from McLean Va HS

    Updates

    Going into the last day of bracket play today I know several teams are in the hunt for the championship.. Anyone that has any information on who is in the hunt, and key matchups please post on this thread. Everyone in the event is trying to figure out who is in the hunt..

    Also any highlights you know of post as well!

    Great Tournament thus far. Lots of talent down here. Scouts everywhere.. Great event
