Hot Times Classic schedule

Has the Hot Times Classic schedule been posted yet

Does anyone have the pool game schedule for the Hot Times Classic in Florence July 8th -11th particularly the 16U schedule

 

i hope it cools off before then. this past week could have been called HOT TIMES CLASSIC.

Early games today have been canceled due to the rain and storms.

Sorry, to complain but just had to express how unhappy we are in Florence. Yesterday with temperatures reaching 101 degrees teams were not allowed to bring in even one team cooler. Water was supplied in the dugouts which was nice but what about the girls between games and while warming up. They were trying to force not just the families but the players to buy the water from the concession stand. That would be all fine and good if things were being kept at a reasonable fee but with a $9 gate admission ... that's right $9 a day. They refused to let you even walk thru the gate if you were drinking a bottle of water or soda. I call this border line insanity and greed. This is the situation at Greenwood park not sure if it applies to Freedom Park. Looking forward to going back to Raleigh next weekend.

Good luck to all the girls this weekend and please drink lots of water before you arrive at the fields as this situation has the potential of getting very dangerous if temperatures reach as high as they were yesterday.

 

Quality of this tournament has fallen off dramatically in the last 5-6 years, I would be surprised if it still around for another 5. Not much better at Walnut Creek probably the worst fields in the state.

I've got a story......

....for ya, I'm not saying that the tourney was the Hot Times, but the gig was in Florence and it was mid summer so ya'll can take my disclaimer from there. Anyway, I'm the 3B coach of a team, I was charged admission that I paid (head coach was not yet there and he had the passes).
After the first game, my lower stomach churned like a blender spinning homemade icecream. Yep, gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now!..and then some.
So I'm 6 lbs lighter after my trip into the airconditioned bathrooms and I went out into the parking lot to get my Immodium. Whew!, now i need some water to chase it down, as I go back through the gate this idiot asks me for my ticket, I laughed thinking he was kidding, ......I kept walking and this chump came out of the office to say that i went out to give my 5 dollar ticket to somebody else. HUH?! Well, when the cops got there.........................................

true story, oh BTW, the head coach came up about that time with the passes so I got back in without paying another 5 bucks.

Sometimes folks need to be dealt with by not getting to your immodium in time.
