    Seems like Bayamon and Sumter are always in the SE Regionals. Could be imagining things though.

    I'm thinking the same thing about the Sumter SC Post and checking their website it indicates they started a baseball program in 1929, and is the 2nd longest running AL baseball programs in the US and one of the most successful as well.

    they've been SC state champs 14 times and SE regional champs twice.

    I notice they have had the same coach since 1987.

    their website lists all alumni of the program. pretty neat.

    BY THE WAY, what are some of the longest running AL baseball posts in NC?

    I talked to a guy the other day from the Lincolnton area that played w/ Cherryville AL back in the early 90's and he talked about the pride in wearing that uniform. good stuff.
