    Chase and Crest

    Chase and Crest are currently tied for first. Crest plays East Rutherford thursday while Chase host Shelby. Both teams should win and will determine the one and two seeds by the FLIP OF A COIN:ack2:.

    Gotta be a better way

    I would hope that runs scored and runs allowed would determine the finish if possible before a coin toss.

    agreed but from what i was told, looks like a coin flip. clevelandlefty, sorry but if Crest would lose against a good ER team, things could be settled on the field.

    yesterday's scores

    West Lincoln 9
    Kings Mtn 4 (WLMS finishes #2 in Eastern Division and will play the Western #1 in playoffs)

    Chase 12
    RS Central 1 (5 innings)
    Dakato pitched another no hitter, striking out 13, walked 2 and hit a homerun.

    Undefeated Regular Season

    North Lincoln Middle defeated Burns today 16-7.
    They are 10-0 for the regular season. GO PANTHERS!

    West Lincoln vs Lincolnton

    West beat Lincolnton today to finish the regular season 8 and 2 second place int he conf. behind North Lincoln. WL will face the #1 seed from the west on Tuesday. Does anyone know who that would be?

    Sports Staff Reports

    The Crest Middle School softball team finished the regular season in the Tri-County Conference in a tie with Chase in the Western Division.
    That came about for the Lady Dragons (7-1) when Macy Ollis fired a no-hitter as Crest took a 4-0 victory against East Rutherford Middle. Ollis struck out out 11, walked two and was backed by an error-free defensive effort.

    Kaylee Wacaster sparked the Crest offense with a pair of hits.
    Crest will play in the Tri-County playoffs starting Tuesday against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.

    ERHS- Sorry to disappoint you but Crest won. Didn't hear a score from the Chase game yesterday but assume Chase won. Looks like a coin flip will determine the first and second place for western division instead of using runs allowed/scored (which would have been in Crest's favor). Coin toss will give Chase the chance to claim first place.

    Chavis beat Holbook 5 to 2 for the Gaston County Championship. Caitlin Hay blasted a three run homerun in the first. Great job to Caitlin and the Chavis team. Also, great job to the Holbrook girls on their season (10-2).

    Any word on the coin toss yet? My DGD plays for West Lincoln.
    I need to know where my road trip from Mint Hill will be heading.
