South Atlantic Border Battle Showcase

The second annual Border Battle event hosted by Dynamic Baseball, Diamond Prospects Baseball and Mid-Atlantic Baseball is scheduled for Oct 30/31st at Historic Fleming Stadium/NC Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in Wilson North Carolina.

This years format will have the top college prospects in the 2011 and 2012 classes from the states of Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina and North Carolina playing on 2 teams from each state.

Saturday will be pool play matchup games and Sunday will be the Gold Medal and Bronze Medal games.

Seems like the rosters are loaded! How were the teams selected and when will the players be notified? I know several of the players on the NC rosters and they haven't heard anything from anyone putting on the event. If someone would post this info it would be very helpful to these players as I know alot of them get on this site. Thanks

Which kids have not received forms? From what I was told they were all mailed out.

 

Spoke with Jackson Reisterer's dad today (NC 2012) and he said he has not received anything as of today. I'll check and see this weekend with the other boys. If you have a contact number or Email address that I can pass along please post it and I'll refer them to this thread. I'd hate for a kid to miss out on this opportunity because of a miss-comunication on someone's part. Thanks

 

If Jackson is available on the date, I will make sure he is participating. What a great opportunity for him. A perfect example of a talented kid that could use the exposure to elevate his name...because the young man already has the talent.

 

Talked with most of the kids today and it seems all have finally received their entry forms. Jackson's father said that he is getting his letter from Coach Hill today as his name was miss-spelled on his origional invitation letter. Everyone is very excited to be a part of this showcase event. Seems to be a great opportunity for these young men!

 

Should be exciting, marylands got a couple kids with good talent signed up to be there in the 2012... Ripken, Wade, Kra, Doherty and Freeberger. Not many of them commited but a showcase like this will defiantly help
