I wonder why any college coach would not look at the Dirtbags first before he recruited anywhere else. AP has alot of talent!! He showed that he is about the kids when he stopped the game at Jupiter along with coach Lemon because he was worried about hurting a pitchers arm.He has a great coaching staff.

You are correct about my son being one of the uncommitted, and really not heavily recruited at this point. Things will work out....they always do

 

Congrats to The Dirtbags. They beat some top of the line programs in route to the title. They did it by pitching to which is even more impressive. Kept other teams off balanced, and played defense, and PITCHED, and the runs came in when they needed to.

To think The DiamondDevils won 17U East Cobb WWBA, Canes won 16U WWBA back to back years, and Dirtbags won Jupiter. Canes in Semifinal of Jupiter, and South Charlotte Panthers Final 16 in Jupiter. What does that say for the this region? UNC in college world series 4 out of the last 5 years, South Carolina NCAA National Champions. Is there some coorelation here? Man baseball in this region is as solid as anywhere else in the country. Not sure if Florida, Georgia, California, or Texas would agree, but the Truth is in the Pudding!

 

2012 Canes North played the 2011 Dirtbags earlier this year.

No actually, 2012 Canes played 2010 Dirtbags team that had a few 2011's on it. Not the same Bags team that just went to Jupiter.

Sounds like everyone wants to see a 7 game World Series between the Canes and Dirtbags next summer.

Say 2 games Friday at NCST, 2 games Saturday at ECU and 3 games Sunday at UNC.

Wonder if the stands could hold the number of people that would probably pay double to see this great matchup.

Reminds me of what we will see tonight when Bumgarner and Hamilton face off. The best of the best from NC for sure!
