Wow! Did not realize that he was back on the market, knew he had committed early last year to Duke. Would be a great addition to anyone's program, we have played against him for 3 years now in High School and he is a terrific pitcher and in my opinion, an even better hitter judging from what he does in our conference every year.

    Don't forget a few other Tri-9 players

    Great list JM15.

Jonathan Grudee, OF/IF Green Hope: Offensive machine, less power than Lapp but has power, fast hands, faster legs (great base runner/stealer), high OBP, scores lots of runs, great attitude and a total team player. Natural athlete.

Ryan Bouton, C, Panther creek: blue collar player, very durable, gets dirty, a blocking machine, 2.0 PT, hits to all fields, excellent work ethic, quiet leader. Smart, calls a good game (not many HS coaches even allow this).

Addison Braswell from Fuquay-Varina Bengals is a beast at the plate though he may be a 2012. A little raw defensively, oozes pure athleticism though.

These are 2 good ones that we have played against as well. Blain has a CANNON from behind the plate!

Yes sir I agree, Brandon is a solid player! That HR he hit off Dylan May was "smoked", that doesn't happen very often with May pitching.

With that being said, how about Dylan May? He has been bothered with injuries for the past 2 seasons, however his bat came to life in Legion ball.

I umpired a game with this kid behind the plate this Summer. He may be a little raw, but he has all the physical tools. He caught a few innings, and then moved to Right Field. Also was on the Canes WWBA World Championship team this summer. He is a 2012.

Like the ones I've coached against on this list:

Dylan May is a top notch LHP. Hard breaking stuff, good fire out of that arm despite small stature. Kid is tough.

Hunter Conley- A steal for someone. Excellent lefty with good grades and a calm, but tough demeanor.

Justin Hammond - Kid is a flat out stud. Could do a lot of things for someone.

Blaine Lewis - One of the area's top catchers with a gun behind the dish.
