There are 18 NCAA Division I baseball schools in North Carolina. This means that in any given year, there is a MAXIMUM of 630 available roster spots at the D-I level. Not all D-I schools sign/announce their commitments during the early signing period in November. Some of us wait until after the "big schools" complete there 2011 recruiting before we zero in on the players who will now consider what we have to offer.

    D II

The Braves are affiliated with NCAA Division II and, most of their athletic teams, are associated with the Peach Belt Conference.

UNC-Pembroke is a D-II school who participates in the Peach Belt Coference comprised of schools from SC & GA. They are the only "public" D-II school in NC
