    I heard it was 20-14 West Rowan over Hibriten. Hibriten has nothing to be ashamed of for the last couple of years. They sucked for years but something has turned around for them. Congrats to those Lenoir boys.

    Davie had the worst regular season in a long time... we are scratching our heads too.

    Before the season I looked at Davie County's schedule and said it's the toughest in the state. They went 5-6 in the regular season but they were obviously a lot better than that. War Eagles are the story of the playoffs.

    Yes, they are the big story. Lost to some tough teams but they've gotten on a roll at the right time. Pretty good night for the area around Rowan County. West Rowan and Salisbury to the state finals, our neighbors to the north (Davie County) and east (Albemarle) will be playing in the finals as well.
