weyco, in response to your post on the other thread, Cox Mill will be better than alot of people think. I believe they have the talent to make the state playoffs this year.

This is a year where many teams lost a lot of talented players, so it's hard to judge. As far as CM is concerned, a #2 starter and the lower half of their line-up have to produce. But I agree with you, as I stated earlier, they will be much improved.

Weyco, Thanks for starting a thread with a much better title. I think Hickory Ridge will make some noise this year. With former BIG DOGS Zach Andrews and Tyler Graham starting on the mound pitching should be strong. Graham worked hard at Coach Knapp's off season strength and conditioning program and it should pay off this season. With fellow seniors Blake Sides, Jarrod Brown, Armando Castaneda, Travis Baucom, and Quinton Wimbish there is a basis for a strong team. I look for DA BULLS to make a move this year. By the way, about time to move those cattle off the field don't ya think?? Later

If I'm not mistaken, CM did not field a JV team last year.

Honestly, I tend to agree. (However, K-Town has 3 Big Dogs as well.) The #2 pitcher for each team will answer a lot of these questions. I certainly think The Ridge is a force to be reckoned with. Now water down that field, it's like playing on concrete! LOL!!! BTW, tell Curt and Sherry hello and I look forward to seeing them. What are Tylers college plans? Justin is off to either App St or UNC for pre-med.

IDK, didn't see many JV games due to work. But that makes sense for a 1st year school.

Just finished pouring new concrete on infield. Should be just right for opening day!!!! Forgot to mention senior Josh Cox and junior Josh Chapman. I think Blake Sides is a junior this year also. Seems as if the BIG DOGS have a major impact in the S.P.C. Were Blake Sides and Travis Baucom also DOGS? Any idea how many former DOGS are on S.P.C. teams?
