    Cox Mill did field a JV team in 2010 ( pretty much an all freshman team) , although their varsity was made up of only 2 juniors and basically the rest were sophomores as well.

    The original coach pitch team, consisted of:
    Travis Baucom - HR
    Dylan May - Kann
    Tyler Graham - HR
    Justin Kidd - Kann
    Zach Andrews - HR
    Alex Brandon - Kann
    Corey Deason - South Rowan
    Matt Helms - HR

    But the team had a major impact in the development of some fine players. Once we moved up to 9U, we had 2 of the best pitchers around, Andrews and May and they continue their success to this day.

    Later that year, Patrick Jenkins and Garrett Todd (CHS) joined the team, there are more out there.

    BTW, knuckles the cows have finished grazing in K-Town and we expect to have grass in June. LOL!!!!

    Great news. I also look for Kannapolis to make some mooooooooooooooves this year!!!! Thats funny right there.

    It would be great to have a score posted after each game for SPC teams. I know I'll cover Kannapolis and I'm sure jd will post for NW, knuckles for HR and Coach Knight for CC. Anybody else making a commitment for Concord, Robinson, Cox Mill or MP. Coach Knight and I wait for scores to update our sites(mine fails in comparison to coach K's) and it would be great to have scores and standings posted the following day. Last year we did a good job, but some really important games went unreported until a newspaper article was released. Anybody??? :gnorsi:

    Just found out Hickory Ridge has a transfer from Audrey Kell this year. Zane Vermette. Think he is an infielder but don't know much more. Anybody know any more info. on him? Also Coach Knapp finally found a j.v. coach and will have an assistant on varsity also. That should be a big help for all involved.
