Don has released the Panthers' 2012 and 2013 rosters. My guess is they will be more than competitive again as usual.
2012 looks like they kept the same strong core while 2013 shows a lot of new names with many high schools represented.
Looking forward to the 2nd season after the high schools finish up. Can't wait (for both seasons)!!!

Having watched the 2012 Panthers play several games this summer and fall I'm a little surprised Hutchins didn't add another stick or two to the line-up. Besides Campanna and Whitman they have nobody that puts fear into the other teams pitcher when they step into the box. They have outstanding pitching and are pretty slick in the field, but to battle and beat the elite teams at the major tournaments they need more offense. All the Elite teams will have sticks up and down their line-up, after the Panthers top 3-4 hitters there is a very steep drop-off. Very surprised he didn't add some power to the line-up.

    SCP

You should have watch more games and seen the stats. Who you think are sticks are not and vice versa. Additionally, pitching wins these tournaments and Don protects all his pitchers with min innings and one game and done, unlike the Canes/Dirtbags/CBC who throw their kids friday, sun,. The 2012 team is loaded with 7/8 pitchers who are studs this year. The 2012 year's team broke the SCP record for wins and I expect better this summer and fall.

Have you stood next to these kids? Jackson is over 210lbs, buttery is 6'5 200 ish, Herbert is for sure over 175(185+) and ever bit of 6'4. Who do you think is a stretch?

Big Lew the Panthers are a great organization and very talented, but i also have first hand knowledge of the Dirtbags and Canes and the fact is they absolutely do not over throw their pitchers, as a matter of fact both organizations in the two biggest showcase tournaments, their aces probably threw less than any of their pitchers on the rosters. As far as the Dirtbags, Adam Griffin threw 3 innings, George Carter did not throw a inning in the Jupiter Showcase and these are two of the best in the state of North Carolina. Neither of the organizations need me to validate them but saying untruthful things about anyone or anything is not a good thing. The Young players coming through the Showcase scene now is blessed to have so many wondereful organizations to learn from and play with in the state of North carolina.

    SCP vs Canes

We might be right overall, but I watched the SCP play the Canes in Ft Myers. Matt Sporz pitched 9 innings the day before they played the Panthers. The panthers were winning and they brought Sporz into relief to win the game and move on so maybe it was a fluke?
