Hey JD, these are scrimmage games for all involved, we had 5 on the field at one time, but who cares? Scores are unofficial and I didn't even bring a scorebook..because it doesn't count. Lord knows NWC is the favorite and you beat the crap out of 2 opponents in a couple of practice games, so the umpires strike zone cost you what... more runs?

Weyco, if they didn't mean anything, the coaches wouldn't schedule them and old farts like you and me wouldn't go watch them.

I said they didn't count, scrimmages are a valuable tool for everyone involved, especially the umpires. I didn't mean to come off as "brash", but these games are not fan friendly... no score is kept, free substitution and 9 pitching changes. (That's why its free to watch.) But it was pretty funny to see 2 umpires make opposite calls on a close play at first, then look at each other and both change their original call, to everyones amusement.

When you post the score of a game, please include "Hotdog" information for tj21, I swear the guy loves a good hotdog more than baseball!!!:yummie:

Oldest trick in the book: Watching baseball for the concession cooking. Last year TJ said, " Give me rainy weather, a good hotdog, plenty of Houston peanuts, and 2 halfway decent teams, life would be good."

karlrocket, my main man from the east. Are you my friend going to be able to keep up our annual tradition of picking the 2 state finalist by week 3?

Uh, youve done quite well on your side, but give me props, I believe I've called 2 state champs in a row now. You know what they about 3 is a charm... :xyxthumbs:

tj knows his baseball, but hotdogs always come up in his posts!? I never told him that after he left the rained out NWC @ ER playoff game last year, they started selling hotdogs for 50 cents, I bought 6...for full price of course. I'm willing to bet tj can lead you to the best food at any city in the piedmont area.:FODIeat2: :burgerflip: :munching_out: :FOFastpizza: :rotflmao:

What can I say? I was never able to eat a hotdog at a ballgame while my sons were playing. Now, I'm seeing life as a fan can actually be quite relaxing.

Weyco, where can I get Kann schedule? Thanks.
