ECU's new stadium was long time coming but product is clearly the best softball facility in the state and, perhaps, the best from SC to Maine. Coach Kee has always done more with less (facility-wise) than almost any coach in the country. All the pieces are now in place for the Pirates to become the state's best program.

    Agree the SEC has . . .

more $$$ than know what to do with (pay football players?). My DD team played at ut a couple of times her SR year including the NCAA regionals. It's pretty nice. Short of the SEC, ECU's place is hard to match. Like ut, ECU has a great scoreboard with video board and, unlike ut, ECU's is not located between a sewage treatment plant and a railroad yard like ut.

    Absolutely

A great facility in a real nice setting. The best concession stand anywhere. They averaged 500 attendees per game last season (admission is $6) despite having a losing season. The athletic department there does an excellent job of promotions in the community and on campus.

    NOPE!

Lost to vols 3-2 & 4-3 after leading in both games. Not bad considering ut probably budgets 4X more dollars than my DD's school did for softball. Honestly, the Weakly's are not my favorite coaching duo, though. All that said, it's a geographical fact that softball stadium sets between a waste treatment facility and RR yard. Beautiful stadium, ugly local
