Are the 07 (grey) and 08 (blue) Easton Synergy currently approved for play? I know they were both in use in the 2010 College World Series, my dd has had her bat pulled twice now as a non-approved bat.

    Thanks for any response!!

    08 yes 07 no.

For NCAA SCN8B Synergy with the Blue Barrel is legal. SCN1B Silver is not. Both are legal for all other sanctions. Please let us know if this is happening below college ball. If so the umps are wrong. As coaches we may have to bring lists with us so bats don't get thrown out in error. Our high school and travel teams both have these models.

Why would the silver SCN1B all of a sudden be illegal in college? Makes no sense?

Check one of the treads below for more info

Easton didn't submit several of their old bats as being legal under new testing rules. The first step to getting on the approved list is for the manufactures to submit it. A few other popular bats like the Demarini Phenix and CF3 -9 were not submitted. Combat didn't submit any pre 2008 as being legal. I think Worth may have done the same.

    SCN1B

I saw Carolina using the SCN1B Silver bat in 2010. Did they outlaw it this year? My daughter has one and loves it.
