    Any details on St. Stephens HB game or South/Watauga? Who pitched? Who hit?

    After a shaky start giving up 2 runs in the 1st, Bumgarner settled down and threw 5 great innings, inducing a big double play ball to escape trouble in the 5th.

    Hibriten mounted a rally in the 6th due to a couple of untimely errors by the Indians. The Panthers took advantage of the miscues with three unearned runs to cut the lead to 10-5. Colton Allison put out the fire in the 6th and got a 1-2-3 inning to close it out.

    Saint 2-2 (1-1 NW3A/4A)

    HOME vs Alexander Central Friday

    The correct score for the Hibriten vs St. Stephens game was Saint 9 Hibriten 5. The score board at the field was off 1 run.

    Brennen James (UNCG) Throws a no hitter, striking out 8 and no walks.
    Lucas LaSalle (App. State) - 2 hits
    Avery Hall, Logan Galliher(Erskine) and Tyler McLain all with 1 hit each

    Congrats to Brennen and Congrats to AC for getting the goose egg out of the win column. This team will hopefully pick it up and turn things around. Was told James was 1 error away from a perfect game! That's awesome for a great kid.
