Justin Hammond Hopewell 6'1 220lbs great bat and power. Extremely versatile and coachable. Primarily plays corners but has pitched and played second this season when needed. The kid will do anything he's asked to help his team

I didn't mention Justin because I believe he is getting ready to commit very soon. But you're right...he's a stud.

    Anthony Allende

Mt. Pleasant P/1B Anthony Allende. Continues to get it done on the mound and at the plate for a very good MP Team.

Deek Davis emerging at North Lenoir

He is beginning to see interest from D1 scouts. .478 avg, 4 HR, great glove at 1B. Works hard, average student.
    Worth a look.

Jimmy McElahany - slick fielding utility player. Bats right, throws right. Plays the game the right way

Josh Skidmore - One of the best shortstops in iMeck conference. All conference as a junior.

The two mooresville players that PUTMEINCOACH mentioned can play. I am surprised that they haven't committed yet. The big lefty swinging first basemen can flat out hit. Has he committed anywhere.

    Jon Taylor CB Aycock

Taylor is having a good year. He is finally getting to play his position behind the plate. He has thrown out everyone trying to steal, all three. He is blocking everything and really looking good. This kid has trimmed off around 20 pounds and runs a lot faster. He looks strong in the chest and arms when I spoke to him. Good kid and good grades.

The lefty from Mooresville is Jake Beaver. He is signed at UNCP. Imagine that, a pwerful hitter going to UNCP!

Skidmore is as smooth as there is with a glove, and his bat is starting to warm back up. Half of his hits have been doubles.

Mcelhany is hitting .540 with 1 hr, 4 doubles.

    Ben Brown, Catcher- Middle Creek

Ben Brown is an outstanding catcher w/ + arm and consistent minus 2.0 pop times. Great blocker and very quick w/ feet and release. Has 10 throw outs this season (+/- 1). Very fast w/ 6.8-6.9 foot speed. Great 1-2 hitter that hits for average and rarely strikes out. He is even a better outfielder but has been needed behind the dish. I have know him for 8 years and his make-up is exceptional. PM me if I may help.

Andrew McNeil RHP- Southern Lee High School

This kid just flat out knows how to "pitch". May not light up the radar gun(did hit 87 in showcase with GBC Prepstars) but strikes batters out with a ++curve ball and consistent change-up. He has great demeanor on the mound and is very confident but always looking to improve his game. A great pick up for any team looking for a quality pitcher flying below the radar. It also helps that he has solid grades and attends his classes.
