    Are any of the Rockettechs illegal for high school play in NC. Had a coach last week tell umpires that the 2004 model was illegal. Does NC high school athletic assoc. go strictly by ASA bat rules?

    NFHS which is the rule set that NCHSAA plays under uses the ASA banned bat list and the only Rocketech on that list is the red techzilla. I am not sure what year but it has been on that list for quite a few years now.

    Everything is illegal in NCAA. lol

    The NCAA baseball rule book is 155 pages and the NCAA softball rule book is 288 pages. WTF
    (added: At the beginning of the year I was able to download the 1Mb baseball rules to my BB, but the 4Mb softball rules exceeded my BB's max download size. Thanks rules committee!)

    NFHS is not quite as bad, but they are closing in every year.

    I have noticed the same thing. Baseball rules are much easier. Heck the pitching rules section maybe larger than the complete baseball rulebook.

    I agree.... but it's like allot of life, the person or group that has the money, makes the rules!

    dont know about Rochettechs but i have a practically brand new Easton Stealth 34/25 thats only been used in 7 high school games if anyone may be interested PM me.
