    Some big games this week. Lee Co. @ Panter Creek- Important game for PC. If they want to move up in the Tri-9 they need a win here. Green Hope @ Holly Springs- Tough game for GH but don't count them out. They are well coached and have heart. Holly Springs is a class act with talent. Middle Creek @ Fuquay- MC needs to bring their best to this game. Fuquay always plays to win. Athens Drive @ Apex- Two good teams that will leave it all on the field. Toss up here. Cary has the night off. Hopefully they can use this time to pull their team together- what a mess.

    Maybe they should start by hiring a coach. Just got off the phone hearing that their coach has stepped down mid-season.

    Game was actually 3-2, but its not very significant.

    Holly Springs is winning by a shrinking margin each game, it seems. I smell an upset soon, very soon.

    Every team has played at least 6 conference games, with GH at 8 conf games. This next week should mark the midway point of the season. Anyone care to make any mid-season predictions for the finish?

    My Tri-9 Conference

    1. Holly Springs................14-2
    2. Fuquay Varina..............11-5
    3. Green Hope..................10-6
    4. Lee County...................9-7
    5. Apex...........................8-8
    ___________________________ Cut-off for play-offs
    6. Athens Drive.................7-9
    7. Middle Creek.................7-9
    8. Panther Creek...............5-11
    9. Cary............................1-15

    Holly Springs 2 losses will come from 2 of the 4: GH, Apex, AD, or MC

    I didn't make an NCAA bracket this year, so I need to make some baseball predictions to fill the void.

    1. Holly Springs.............. 15-1 (one loss will be tomorrow against Athens)
    2. Lee County................ 11-5 (loss at PC might be the best thing for them this year)
    3. Middle Creek.............. 11-5 (started 0-3 but seem to have found their stride)
    4. Green Hope................ 9-7 (surprised at their success when povse not on mound)
    5. Fuquay-Varina............ 8-8 (not as good as i thought they would be but senter will have them find playoffs)

    6. Apex........................... 7-9 (will battle GH/FV/AD for 5th place)
    7. Athens Drive............... 7-9 (will battle AP/FV/GH for 5th place)
    8. Panther Creek............ 4-12 (making progress. babysteps.)
    9. Cary........................... 0-16 (even though they can swing a little, their pitching is just that bad)
