Post is best pitchers not wins and losses...

Wow.. the AK / PR game was lost in an inning filled with errors not the pitching (same as the AK / Marvin Ridge game, won on fielding errors), this post is to highlight the great pitchers in the state not single out wins or losses by any one pitcher, it's HS ball any great pitcher will take the loss of a game on any given day..

I guess the AK pitcher is a great pitcher in the state. To get an error someone has to hit it. Didn't mean to make you mad but that was why I said subjective subject.

Not mad just pointing out that the thread is to give kudos to great pitchers in the state not to pick each apart on games. Obviously the ball has to be hit to have an error, "it's a routine play that should have been made but wasn't.. doesn't count as a hit".. any great pitcher can have hits against them as well, happens to the best. Great pitchers listed in this thread, definitely among the best in the state!

    Orange High School

The Pitcher for Orange High School in Hillsbourgh, NC (sorry don't know her name) is one college coach's to need to put on your follow list. I believe she is just a freshman. Throws hard legit 60+ with good pitchers frame.

    Carley Tysinger is very good.

The duo at North Davidson that are both sophmores is really going to surprise many people. Eliza Davis has good speed and can move the ball. Mac is the power pitcher there.

Some pitchers don't pitch for strike outs. They pitch to get people out. They count on their defense to make the plays.

    Agree on:

    wilkerson
    white
    hauser

Some others only have 2 pitches and get hit hard .

    One more to add

I will agree on all of the young ladies selected but lets not forget about Josie Oxendine at Purnell Swett. This kid is pretty darn good too.
