Last week the Mavericks defeated the only 2 undefeated teams in the I-Meck Conference, North-Meck and Lake Norman. These were two TEAM wins by the heavily senior laden team.
Anybody know if there are good players that will be back next year?? Or are they facing some lean years? Also, anyone besides Hill with college commits?

    LNHS vs. MCHS corrction

Thought I read it was LNHS over MCHS at MC. I saw the NMHS game vs MCHS and they did get a great start at home vs. the big lefty from NMHS and won the game about 7-4. The Freshman Ryan hit two out in the game for NMHS.

LNHS did win in week #3 6-2 over MCHS

Look at week 3 scores--there are a couple posts about the score and game.

MCHS does look good and played well.

I saw the MC game vs. NMHS and they play well--jumped all over the NMHS starter early and cruised the rest of the game. The freshman for NMHS Ryan hit two long balls of MC pitchers for 3 RBIs that night.

    Oceanprose, sorry......my bad

Mallard Creek beat 2 undefeated teams in their conference but it was North Meck and HOPEWELL, not Lake Norman.
You are correct and thanks, :cuda:

I believe Hopewell had lost to Lake Norman before they played Mallard Creek.....Lake Norman defeated Mallard Creek and Hopewell the same week in which they were both undefeated at the time.

From what I have seen, these teams are very capable of beating each other on any given night. I don't see a dominant team with clearly superior talent and I think that makes for a very interesting I-Meck 4A season between Mallard Creek, Hopewell, North Meck, Lake Norman, and Mooresville.

    You're facts are off.

Lake Norman beat Mallard Creek in Week 3, and Lake Norman also beat Hopewell that week. So the only undefeated team they beat was North Meck.
