    I saw 2 great performances tonight...Cox Mill catcher Travis Watkins, (who I had the pleasure of coaching when he was 7 lol!) and Wonders pitcher Eldon Peters. Travis is in the running for conference POY, best catcher in SPC. Eldon Peters pitched one heck of a game, but defense let him down and Kannapolis ran themselves ou of innnings with poor baserunning.

    Weyco!!! Long time no hear from. In the Ridge win over Mt. Pleasant Blake Sides picked up the win to run his record to 4 and 0 on the year. Travis Baucom came in to get the last out to stop another potential Tiger uprising. Hickory Ridge plays at Carson on Monday and then they will try to slay the mighty Trojans the rest of the week.

    jd2350 I will defer to you on this one other than to say the Segar kid is scary good, the Smith kid pitched a good game and Tyler Graham hit his first home run of the year for Hickory Ridge.

    Not much I can add to what you've already said. I thought both pitchers did well. Without Seagers HR it's a lot different ballgame. I thought it was a very good pitchers duel up to that point.

    The one Seager hit was about 450 if center field is 350:stunned:

    Good win for the Trojans but The Ragin Bulls will be a team to watch out for come playoff time.

    Concord gets their first SPC win of the year with an extra inning win at Cox Mill.
