    Mallard Creek at Mooresville

    MC 202 132 0 10 14 1
    M 131 300 0 8 8 1

    WP: Kirk Morgan

    Leading Hitters: MC - Kirk Morgan 4-5, 3 2Bs, 3 RBI; Brandon Wilkerson 3-5, 2 RBI, 2 SB; Jamel Harbison 2-4, HR, 3 RBI

    Leading Hitters: M - Beaver 2-3, HR; Raper 2-3, 2B; Skidmore 1-2, 2 BBs, 2 SB.

Mooresville can flat out hit. Even their outs were hard hit balls. Holcomb went 1-4 but two of his outs were laser fly balls to deep CF, one of which was caught at the fence with two outs and the bases loaded.

Great game and fun to be a part of.

    West Forsyth vs. North Davidson

    WF - 4
    ND - 2

It was another great WF/ND battle last night in Welcome. Jordan Ramsey started for ND and Brett Morgan got the start for WF. Morgan went 5 strong innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 10. Ramsey went 6 1/3 giving up 8 hits and striking out 10 also. Ryan Mayhew came in and threw the 6th and 7th for WF and gave up no hits and struck out 5. On the night the Titan pitchers combined for 15 k's and no walks. At the plate ND scored 2 runs on a double in the 5th by Cody Adkins. WF answered back in the top of the 6th when Josh Clark singled and Chad Felton followed with a 2-run bomb to dead center to tie the game up at 2-2. West then scored 2 runs in the 7th on back to back squeeze plays.

West Forsyth will play Forbush today in a non conference match up with proceeds and doanations from the game going to the Susan Koman Foundation for Breast Cancer. The Titans will be wearing pink socks and shoe strings for todays game. Come out and help "Strike Out Breast Cancer" today.

Right you are MC28; a great game

BOTH TEAMS WERE PUMPED!! And Mooresville CAN stroke it!! From what I saw, the Mavericks' Kirk Morgan is very special. He is an accomplished 2nd baseman and is ALWAYS ON BASE! But, I was surprised when he came in to relieve in this big game. He took the bump in the 5th with bases loaded and no outs and Mooresville already had scored 8 runs in the first 4 innings. He got out of the 5th with no runs scoring, then gave up no runs in the 6th and ended the game striking out the side in the bottom of the seventh. Did not know he was a pitcher. Is he committed anywhere?

    I-MECK IS REALLY FUN!! ----- :FOFRBanana0518HL: --------

If you look at the Perfect Game website, sophomores are already commiting. In the last 2 years or so, commitments are happening earlier, and earlier and earlier. I think it's getting on the late end for juniors already.

    East Meck vs Kannapolis

East Meck got an out of conference win tonight over the Wonders at Coach Dave Jones Field. The Eagles plated 11 runs in the first two innings and won 12-2 in 5 innings. Jonathan Crews was the winning pitcher for East Meck and Ryan Blackmon took the loss for Kannaoplis. Jackson Reisterer hit a 3 run HR to lead the Eagles batters. EM travels to MP tomorow night for a SW4A contest.
