The conference is wide open, as well as the rest of the 3A East. There are no real powerhouses at the moment. Any team could win at any point, as seen early in New 6 conference games. You have to remember RM with Moss on the mound is much different than w/o him. Also, take a look at the paper, Central is already planning a State Championship.... Order the rings... :bsflag:

The Big East is wide open for now, but Wilson Hunt could go 2-up on Nash Central tonight if they defeat the Bulldogs. Big game tonight between Hunt & Central. You're right about Rocky Mount; With Moss on the mound they've dominated. Without, they were beaten 14-7. As far as the 3A East being wide-open, that remains to be seen. The Big East & ECC have dominated 3A East baseball the last 4 seasons, & don't know if that's going to change. Only Jacksonville from the Coastal is undefeated right now, and I'm not sure how strong that conference is either currently. Conley is up & down, as are the Brunswick County teams this year. The Big East will once-again receive 4 bids into the playoffs this year, which I figure will be Wilson Hunt, Rocky Mount, Nash Central, & Northern Nash.

Everyone knows how good Benton Moss is, but what he has accomplished the last 2 games is beyond amazement...it's magical!
