Big East will get 4 every year unless the format is changed.

Yea, there's some Nash County folks that think Rocky Mount, Central, & Northern are fighting it out for 2 spots. They're just fighting for seeding.

Only top 2 should go in my opinion!

    Terrible format.

I agree with you. Thats the way it used to be years ago. It does make for some interesting possibilities as far as matchups go. As it stands right now, for instance, Rocky Mount could very well finish 4th in the conference & have to travel to play the #1 team from the Cape Fear Valley Conference. I'm sure whoever that team turns out to be, is not wanting to face Benton Moss (there's that name again), in the 1st round of the playoffs. There are too many teams allowed in thou. The Coastal gets 5 teams in, & probadly the 5th team from that conference has a losing record. The western side of 3A also has a couple of conferences with 5 spots.

The winner of the Coastal conference is really getting hosed. I may be a little biased, but the winner of this conference (DH Conley and Jacksonville tied atop right now) has to face #3 of the Eastern Carolina, which is currently Eastern Wayne. Whoever comes in 2nd gets to face #3 of the Big East, which is currently Rocky Mount. That's murderer's row. I dont think they should cut the Eastern portion of the bracket in half.

For Wilson Fike the slide continues. This is definitely "learning under fire" for the younger players. Hopefully it will help in the future. I hate it for the seniors.
