Hickory Ridge is 10 and 7 overall. How many teams from the SPC go to the playoffs? Wondering which upcoming games will be critical to a teams playoff hopes.

The final score doesn't reflect how well Sophmore Eldon Peters pitched, it was a 3-2 game after 5 complete. Kannapolis played solid defense through 5 innings and then fell apart. They also continued to kill themselves on the base paths and leaving runners stranded, but hats off to NWC...they can hit the ball and Bain worked out of early trouble... BTW Lollie thanks for adding positive remarks about opposing players, we need to see more of that. My son Justin Kidd also had a triple, to go along with his first high school homer and as he rounded second all I saw was teeth grinning!!!:SPcheer006cheerbril

Nice job by Coach Knight and his Vikings

Excellent pitching performance from Garrett Freeze for Central. He kept the Cox Mill hitters off balance all night. Chargers defense let them down or it would have been a great pitching contest with Travis Watkins and a much closer game.

    Mount Pleasant 9
    Robinson 0

Grayson Atwood pitched the complete game shutout

    MP Grayson Atwood HR
    MP Anthony Allende HR
MP AJ James 2-3, Dbl, 1sb

NOTE: Dawgs were undermanned with all but on senior out of town but the kids who filled in played good fundamentally sound baseball
