I'm surprised we haven't had more feedback on this thread. This is an annual, intense event with all the bells and whistles. A HR Derby and for bragging rights between Private and Public schools in Charlotte. This tournament is always filled with college and pro scouts, and I expect there will be many again this year.

Which games are you looking forward to watching?

    Unless....

Don't overlook that MP JV squad. Could be a contender.

NOW that should get 'em started!

    CCDS

Seriously, you better keep an eye on CCDS. They are CLEARLY the class of the league. Recently ranked #1 by Impact Baseball in the polls (oops, am I allowed to say that or will I get in trouble with AP?)

Excellent top-tier pitching and clutch/power hitters in the lineup.

Frazier, Walls, Langdon and perhaps one of the best baseball names in North Carolina (with due respect to ROOKIE DAVIS)....

Ishikawa Keisuke (pronounced CASE-KAY) and he will flat put a "K" on some folks!

    FUN WEEK AHEAD -

The Jack Sink Tournament represents one of the finest traditions in Charlotte high school baseball. The Country Day team is grateful for the opportunity to participate in this event, respecting both the rich history of this tournament and the truly impressive teams that square off on the diamond. With all due deference to the pollsters and bloggers and commentators, the Country Day team knows full well, as do the other players that represent the competing teams, that it is not the hype or chest-thumping that matters, but what happens between the lines and by the players. The Country Day team is looking forward to an excellent tournament and hope that through their play, and the play of the other participating teams, they can meet the standards of excellence and sportsmanship for which this tournament has become known and loved.

This is a perfect time to give some players some exposure. Personally I am interested in the private school players because we don't hear enough about them. But please post anybody you feel is exciting to watch.
