    Playing their best baseball of the year, Concord wins the South Stanly Spring Clash by knocking of host S. Stanly 4-0. Ryan Burris threw a CG one-hitter.

    Hickory Ridge leaves Forest City with a win over R.S. Central 14 to 2. Tyler Graham picked up the win and was also on the All Tournament Team. Forest City puts on a great event. Thanks to all involved. Also,Forest City had a team in The Carolina Outlaw League and other area leagues back in the 30s and 40s.I think McNair Field was their home ballpark but back then it was a Legion Field or something. Great place to see a ballgame. Any history buffs got any info.??

    Tournament Time

    Games at higher seeds on Monday. Semis and Finals at Northwest Wednesday and Thursday. #2 seed Hickory Ridge plays #7 seed Concord at 6:30 tomorrow. Concord coming in strong after winning South Stanley Easter Tournament. Should be a very interesting tournament.

    NW 5 Kannapolis 4

    NW battles back and wins on walk off homer by Jarin Hogue. Not a good night at the plate for the Trojans who benefited from some untimely walks and hit batsman to pull even with the Wonders late. Bain pitched complete game and was able to get the Wonders down in order in top of 7th.

    Congrats to NWC for battling back, Zach Jones and Eldon Peters combined to hold the Trojans to 1 run and should have went the distance.

    Tyler Sides hit a 3 run homer to put Kannapolis up 4-1.

    Best played game of the year for the Wonders. Hats off to a team that could have laid down, but fought to the bitter end.

    Best wishes to seniors: #3 Dylan May, #5 Justin Kidd, #6 Quinn Gill, #7 Zach Jones, #8 Chandler Hooks, #9 Ryan Blackmon, #11 Michael Church and #23 Tyler Freeze.
