    College Baseball Prep Program

    Starting June 27th at CBC

    6 weeks 3 days per week- $599

    Monday 10am-1 pm

    Wed 10am-1 pm

    Thursday 10am-1 pm

CBC’s College Baseball Prep Course is designed to prepare incoming college freshman for the expectations of a collegiate baseball player, on and off the field. Our College Prep course assists players with the workout program they have received from their future school. If you did not get a specific program you will receive one from CBC designed for you and your needs.

CBC’s College Prep Course allows you to get supervised, concentrated, focused repetitions. This program will concentrate on Offensive and Defensive Reps, as well as your summer strength and agility program. The weight room will become a major focus for college athletes and you will be evaluated on your performance in the weight room, just like you are on the field. The program teaches players how to work safely, efficiently and effectively in the weight room.

The mental adjustments at the college level

The biggest adjustment freshman have at the collegiate level is the mental adjustments. Dealing with situations that you did not expect, or have not been part of before can be challenging. CBC focuses on preparing you for life on and off the field, and gives you the tools to set goals for yourself, and how to obtain them.

Mental side: 3 sessions (and more if needed)

    On the field
    * Approach and adjustment ________* Dealing with different terminology
    * Dealing with failure ____________* Not playing
    Off the field
    * Diet _________________________* Time management
    * Social Decision-making__________* Academic Resources- (tutoring, writing labs etc..)
    *Academic Structure

Tyler Anderson-Strength & Conditioning, baseball skill development
Jason Hill & Paul Lover—Mental Sessions

    Sounds like a good program..........

Is this the first year? If not, can you provide any program evaluations/testimonials for folks considering this investment?.......:bigok:

This is a first year program.

With so many kids from this area going into their first year of a college program there is definitely a need for a program like this. I know the college coaches want these guys to show up ready to go and so many of the kids don't truly know what that means until they get there in the fall and it is too late.

Hopefully it will become and on-going program that improves year over year. The other benefit kids in this program will have is access to working out with all of the college players from the Pioneers as they will be using CBC for their summer workouts.

Social Decision Making -- I dont think there will be a more valuable subject you could cover than this one.

One bad choice can end it all. Something I always tell kids when I speak to them is that -- "you never know who is watching"

I dont recall ever blocking ads from contributors to TBR. Especially those who actively participate or sponsor events that we and are sons participate in. Besides, people advertise tournaments and showcase camps all the time. This is a service that may benefit many.
